The rubber and polymer industry is coming together in a big way this September, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it. ALTTRAN will be exhibiting at the Global Polymer Summit (GPS) 2025, taking place September 8-11 at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland. You’ll find us at booth 1412 – and we can’t wait to meet you.
Why GPS 2025 is Perfect for ALTTRAN
This year’s summit is special because it brings together the International Elastomer Conference (IEC) and the International Tire Exposition & Conference (ITEC) into one comprehensive event. What does that mean for us? It means we’ll be surrounded by exactly the kinds of companies we work with every day – manufacturers who mold, extrude, and calendar rubber.
GPS 2025 brings together exactly the kinds of companies we work best with. These are manufacturers who understand that having the right polymer compound, delivered on time, with proper technical support, can make or break their production schedules.

What We’re Bringing to the Show
We’re using GPS 2025 as an opportunity to showcase what we do best: custom polymer mixing and comprehensive lab services. If you’ve been following our work, you know these are the two areas where we really shine.
Custom Mixing That Works for You
Unlike many companies that focus on large-volume production, we’ve built our reputation on providing fast, reliable rubber mixing for companies that need custom solutions. We work with smaller volume batch sizes that larger competitors often won’t handle, and we do it with rapid turnaround times.
Our custom mixing covers both black and color rubber compounds, tailored to your exact specifications. Whether you need:
- Electrically insulative and conductive rubber
- Rubber rollers and plumbing applications
- Building & construction materials
- Hosing & tubing, diaphragms, seals & gaskets
We’ve got the expertise to get it right.
Lab Services That Solve Problems
Our ALTTRAN Technical Services (ATS) team offers comprehensive rubber compound testing using standard ASTM lab testing methods. We help customers develop new formulations and troubleshoot existing ones. Our polymer expertise spans EPDM, NBR, Natural Rubber, Neoprene, SBR, Synthetic Polyisoprene, HNBR, Butyl, Nitrile, and many others.
Recent lab expansions have brought us MonTech rubber process analyzers (RPA 3000), moving die rheometers, Mooney viscometers, and advanced software for data analysis. Our rubber testing capabilities include heat aging, low temperature brittleness, abrasion resistance, electrical conductivity and resistivity, and fluid and swell testing.
What Makes Us Different
In our industry, we’ve noticed that many companies have moved away from the relationship side of the business. We’ve gone the opposite direction. We’ve found that manufacturers still want to work with people who understand their specific challenges and can provide real solutions, not just take orders.
Here’s what sets us apart:
- Speed: Fast and reliable delivery when others take much longer
- Flexibility: We’re willing to work with smaller volume batch sizes that larger competitors often won’t handle
- Communication: You get direct access to technical expertise for troubleshooting and problem-solving

Filling the Formula Gap
As the rubber industry has evolved, many companies no longer develop their own polymer formulas. That’s where we come in. We work directly with customers to create formulations that meet exact end-use specifications and process requirements.
When you send us a new polymer formulation, we start with initial lab studies to confirm physical properties and mixing methods. This ensures no surprises when your compounds reach the factory floor. Our technical approach focuses on providing real-world solutions for rubber and elastomer formulation challenges, no matter how complex.
Come Find Us in Cleveland
We’re genuinely excited about this show because it represents exactly how we find our best customers – through relationships, referrals, and face-to-face conversations at events like this. GPS 2025 is an opportunity to meet manufacturers who need consistency, quality products, clear communication, troubleshooting support, and formula development services.
If you’re dealing with polymer mixing challenges, or you need someone who can deliver custom compounds on a reasonable timeline, come find us at booth 1412. We’re there to build relationships and provide answers.
What to Expect When You Visit
When you stop by booth 1412, you’ll meet our technical team who can discuss your specific polymer mixing needs. We’ll have examples of our work, information about our lab capabilities, and most importantly, people who can listen to your challenges and offer practical solutions.
Whether you need help with a current formulation, want to explore new polymer options, or are looking for a reliable mixing partner who can deliver on time, we’re there to help.
