ALTTRAN is pleased to welcome Taylor to her new role as Development Chemist.
Taylor graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a minor in Business. While completing her degree, she spent a year working part-time as a Laboratory Intern at ALTTRAN, gaining hands-on experience with laboratory testing methods, rubber compounding, and formulation development.
That experience provided a strong foundation for her transition into her current role as Development Chemist. Today, Taylor works on compound development projects by preparing formulations, conducting laboratory testing, and making adjustments to meet compound specifications. She also evaluates improvements to existing production compounds and helps support the scale-up process from laboratory development to production.
As she continues to grow in her role, Taylor is focused on expanding her technical knowledge of rubber compounding, formulation development, and testing methods. She looks forward to applying that knowledge to troubleshoot challenges, improve compound development, and contribute to the continued growth of ALTTRAN’s technical capabilities.
We’re excited to have Taylor continue growing with the ALTTRAN team!
