ALTTRAN Helps Build Basketball Court for Community Improvement in Akron

In July this year, Alttran was proud to team up with The Well Community Development Corporation on a community improvement project in a vacant lot for the residents of the Middlebury neighborhood of Akron, Ohio. The Well had been planning to build a public basketball court. Together with 22 Alttran employees who volunteered their time, we helped them accomplish their goal. With Alttran providing labor and supplies we were able to build the court, several picnic tables, and complete the landscaping, making this area a great place for youth to play basketball. In addition, we assisted with the building of new outdoor steps for a nearby home renovation.
